Agent Rooms shows what your agents are doing without reading what they write.

Updated September 30, 2026. Covers the web app at app.agentrooms.io and the connector on your computers.

What the connector sends

About every 15 seconds, and every few seconds while an agent is working or waiting on you:

Sessions and turnsTitles, states, times and counts.
  • Each agent session: its title, state, times and token counts, and its model and reasoning setting.
  • Project folders: the name of each session’s folder, never the full path.
  • Each turn: how many commands, edits, searches and reads it had (not what they were), and how it ended.
Workflow runsNames, phases, goals and counts.
  • Each run: its name, project, phase titles and notes.
  • Its goal: up to 280 characters from the workflow’s own description, which often restates your task.
  • Its agents: each one’s label, model, state, kind of step, attempt, token and tool-call counts and times.
The computerIts hardware, health and the devices it sees.
  • The computer: its name, platform, chip and memory, and each disk volume’s name and free space.
  • Local models: the model runtimes on the computer and the models they hold.
  • Its health: CPU, memory, GPU and disk use, and which developer tools are installed.
  • Busiest programs: their names, shown to workspace owners only.
  • Devices, on Macs: the names of displays, USB devices and running simulators.
  • iPhones and iPads, on Macs: the names of those Xcode knows, even when unplugged. Device names can include a person’s name.
  • Local job lists: the titles and progress of jobs in the computer’s local CPU and GPU worker lists, if it has them.

Health and busiest programs: from connector 0.7.2, on Mac and Linux.

AI tool sign-insPlan, usage and a masked email hint.
  • The Codex app, if you are signed in there: its plan, usage and credit balance, and a masked hint of the email.

Codex and the Claude app may title a session from your first message, and that title is sent. agentrooms titles named sends only titles you set yourself, and holds back each workflow run’s goal and phase details.

Sent only if you turn it on

Each of these is off by default and turned on for one computer at a time.

Conversations and progressRead only when an owner asks.
  • Conversations: the recent conversation of a Codex task or Claude Code session, including its helpers’ conversations.
  • Conversation reads: only when a workspace owner asks for one, and the hub discards it after five minutes.
  • A workflow agent’s work: what a Claude Code workflow agent was asked, its recent steps and its result, read only when an owner opens it.
  • Progress lines: redacted lines saying what each agent is doing now, kept for up to 24 hours.
Board sharingRoles and steps from a local agent board.
  • Board sharing: on a computer that runs a local agent board, each agent’s role, team, assignment and kind of step.
  • That board’s address: a local link that works only on that computer. Step contents, messages and notes are never sent.
Directions to Codex agentsRun at most once, expire after 10 minutes.
  • Directions: what you send from the board or your phone reaches that computer, runs at most once and expires after 10 minutes.
  • After that, a direction goes to the tool’s provider under your own account, as anything you type into that tool would.
Sign-in detailsFor the AI tools on that computer.
  • Sign-in details: for each AI tool signed in on that computer, a label, its plan, usage and status, and a masked email hint.
  • A sign-in in progress: its sign-in link and one-time code, until it finishes.

Never sent

  • Content: prompts, replies, tool output and the contents of your files, apart from the conversation reads you turn on above.
  • Full folder paths.
  • Excluded folders: nothing from a folder you exclude. agentrooms exclude add FOLDER keeps its sessions on the computer.
  • This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other sites.

What you add

  • Your account: your GitHub login, name and picture, from signing in.
  • Your Home: which computer, or which hub address, Agent Rooms opens for you.
  • Your notes and names: your notes, directions and room moves, the names you give projects and sessions, and your phones’ names.
  • A log of actions in your workspace: sign-ins, pairing and revoking computers, linked phones, directions, invites and downloads.

How long it is kept

  • Session history: 7 days, and at most 100,000 state changes and 100,000 token totals per workspace, oldest first.
  • Workflow runs: 7 days after their last update.
  • A quiet computer: after 7 days without a sync, its sessions and their history are deleted. If it syncs again, its sessions come back; it stays listed until you revoke it.
  • A computer you revoke: its sessions, notes and directions are deleted at once.
  • Answered directions: 30 days, at most 5,000 per workspace.
  • The action log: 180 days, at most 20,000 entries per workspace.
  • The hub’s own records of invites, account deletions and refused sign-ins: 180 days.
  • A withdrawn invite: your workspace stays until an admin deletes it, or until you are invited again and delete it yourself.
  • Backups: a full copy for up to 31 days. If a backup is ever restored, every account deleted since is deleted again first.
  • The request log: the addresses of pages you open, which include your workspace’s name, for up to 7 days.

Who can read it

  • You: everyone who signs in gets their own workspace. Other people on the hub can’t see it.
  • The people who run the hub can read everything it stores, and the hosting service in front of it carries its traffic.

Your controls

On your account page you can download everything the hub keeps about you as JSON, revoke a phone, and delete your account and all its data at once. How deleting works.

On each computer, agentrooms preview prints exactly what would be sent, and agentrooms exclude add FOLDER keeps a folder’s sessions on the computer. All commands.
